A pocket four-track tape machine for iPhone and Android. Arm a track, hit REC, and it prints two WAVs — the raw take and the FX take — because the processed version is a take, and the raw one is the truth. Free, open source, and nothing you record ever gets overwritten.

RAW and FX, every time
Each track lands as
track#_RAW.wavandtrack#_FX.wav. Commit to a sound while you track without ever losing the take underneath it. - Transport

STOP is pause, not the end
The next REC continues the same take. RW snaps to the top, or replays from zero if you're already playing. Overdub by arming an empty track while the rest play along. Nothing resets unless you start a new project or hit ERASE, which asks first.

Multichannel USB, so every input on the box shows up. Patch IN 1 through 8, or a summed stereo pair, to any of the four tracks.

Six-band EQ, LA comp, Deestress, tape
Switch units in and dial them with DIRECT on, so you hear the processed input live while you set gain. Deestress goes from gentle to NUKE.

16, 24-bit or 32-bit float · 48 kHz
Mono per track, WAV throughout. Tape length runs to infinity, or set a 3 to 30 minute reel and it stops itself and saves.
