Every app starts with a working musician or engineer needing something that didn't exist, and ends only when it's good enough to reach for on a real take. Some of it is free. All of it has to earn its place on your device.

No dark patterns, no watermarks on your bounce, no reselling your data. When something's free, it's actually free. When a take is recorded, the raw original is always kept — because the processed version is a take, and the raw one is the truth.

Made by need, not a boardroom

Deestech didn't start as a company — it started as a problem. The tool a session actually needed either didn't exist, or cost a rack and a room. So it got built.

Every app here comes from that same place: a real problem, on a real take, solved because someone had to live with the result. The problem came first — solving it became the app, and the app became a tool. If it isn't good enough for the work, it doesn't ship.
